I boldly admit that I was a nominal Christian before I came to God.
Although my father was a Pastor yet I did not accept Jesus Christ as my savior.
My life changed in 1997 when God brought me to South Korea to attend the Church Growth International Conference arranged by Dr. David Youngi Cho. God changed my spirit, soul and whole life by giving a wonderful vision for Orphan and Homeless Children.
After having this vision I was so confused because I had nothing and my mother was not financially strong, while my father had died in my childhood.
I shared my vision with my friends and different people. They all appreciated and advised me to go back to Pakistan and start it in the name of Jesus.
So I came back, and started my ministry in the name of Jehovah.
Dear Brothers and Sisters!
Since its beginning we are facing many problems to continue this mission, there are so many victories and joy also. Here I would like to share one of our victories in Christ. It’s my pleasure to share our joys and our victories in Christ. On 26th of October 1999 we had nothing to eat and the children did not eat breakfast. During this hard time I went to my prayer room for prayer and prayed with tears “Oh Lord! You gave me this vision and you know, now we have nothing to eat, we have nothing to buy, Oh Lord help us,… help us,… help us, you are the provider, you are the provider, help us, help us.
During my prayer a child came to me and said “Sir! A person is calling you at the main door” when I met that unknown person he gave me an envelope and said this is my donation for the children. I became so happy when I opened the envelope, and then I thanked the Lord who provided this help in time by a miracle.
Dear, as we all know prayer is an important tool-the most powerful tool in the life of every believer in Jesus Christ. The Bible has much to teach us about the importance of Prayer, and the result of the prayer. Please pray for us to continue this mission and build a better world for children.
IT MAY BE NOTED,
According to our observation, knowledge and experience there is a large number of Orphan and Homeless Children in Pakistan and these children who have no concern about religion and race are looking for help. In order to survive they need and deserve our caring attitude to feed them, provide them shelter, and take care of their educational and vocational needs.
Many children dream of going to good schools and to live in a hygienic environment but such dreams seldom come true. A number of children are hungry and without clothes.
Many of them are forced to sleep in tents and on the walkways.
We see a lot of children begging when we are going to school, college, office or market. They are mostly bare footed, shabbily dressed and dirty. They normally beg from people in the cars, on bikes or traveling by foot. Some of them give them some money and others ignore them. Most of the time people and police treat them harshly, abuse and beat them, and they easily fall prey to the police who arrest them without any reason.
My question is: why is it so, what is the fault of these children, have we fulfilled our duty in this case, like helping these children in going to school or learning basic life skills. What we see is that these children are totally ignored and isolated. They are part of our future generation.
It is our duty to help them in leading a better life to protect their needs and rights. These are the children who don’t know where their next meal is coming. These forgotten and neglected children are a challenge to all of us.
We don’t understand if their future is dark or bright. It may be noted with great concern that 10 million children worldwide are exploited because of poverty and lack of education.
As we all know children cannot speak for themselves-they depend on us to speak for them. They are powerless; they suffer the most when resources are maldistributed. They need us to bring their very special needs to the notice of the power full.
With our concerted efforts and with generous donations we can open the doors of identifiable living for them. Now we have multiple tasks on our hands because there is so much to do for these children and for the poor society around us.
We are trying to build back for them what they have lost.
Children have a lot of problems and all these problems are painful.
Mere thought of this aim multiplies in our imagination when we think as if any such child could be our own
In over populated countries the magnitude of this problem is even hyper and it is not an uncommon sight to see this phenomenon over there.
We will have to change our behavior towards poor children because they can also prove to be good citizens
As leaders, we will not just wait for it to happen, we know very well that it is not enough to dream about a better world. A better world will only come through careful planning, honest cooperation, and hard work.
- Children should be heard, and their voices respected.
